Great righthanded starter who dominated his era. His 18 victories set remarkable career standard. Team Captain pitched when UCD season schedule was less than 30 games. Won 6 games as Freshman. Posted 1.93 Earned Run Average in 1963 campaign. Set school record for Wins with 7 in 1964. Struck out 138 opposing batters in last three years. Pitched well against major college competition beating San Jose State three times, University of Pacific and Oregon State.
